Tim Burton Halloween Trivia
Descendants hosts this trivia night that toasts the gothic mastermind behind Beetlejuice and The Nightmare Before Christmas. Play individually or as part of a team for your chance to win some prizes. Halloween costumes are highly encouraged.

DJ 88 and DJ Good Dr. are spinning their favorites along with some spooky Halloween tracks. There’s a special Halloween cocktail available and a prize for the best costume.

Award-winning jazz and hip hop trumpet player Brownman Ali leads his all-star quintet through their annual Halloween Thriller tour that stops off at The Boathouse. The multiple National Jazz Award winner will perform MJ’s seminal Thriller album from top to bottom, reworked in a Miles Davis-esque fashion.

The Grand Trunk Saloon
It’s a Halloween Burlesque at the downtown Kitchener favourite with burlesque performances by Annie Moore, Marilyn St. Evans, Marquise De Bawd, Ruby Krueger, Sapphyre Poisone and Whiskey Dame. The Canadian Wolfman hosts while Capt’n Cillian & Co perform. There will also be a costume content with prizes for best costumes. Show starts at 9pm.

The University of Waterloo bar is throwing their annual Hallowicked party with $3.50 Jägerbombs and other drink specials. $500 is up for grabs for best costumes. Note: there’s a sign in policy with University of Waterloo students able to sign in two guests. Laurier students can sign themselves in with a OneCard.

After throwing a Nightmare on King Street party over the weekend, District is ringing in Halloween with a Fear Factory themed shindig. Prizes are up for grabs for best costumes with DJ Whitegold and DJ Nayo on the decks.
